Expedition Tour Norway 2024

When someone asks me where my home is, there is no simple answer. There are a few places in the world where I feel reliably at home and Trondheim is one of them. So many beautiful tours in the neighboring Sylan Mountains, so many stories and so many people with whom these stories were created, I associate with this city. And since my youngest daughter visited Trondheim last year before she was even born, I feel even more at home there. Even though from there, as a place of transit, it's really only ever onwards to the reindeer, the rivers, the birch trees, the mosquitoes, the wind, the rain and the sun of the Swedish and Norwegian wilderness. We had enough of all that this year and after a rainy night we had the best whitewater ride of all our previous tours there. And even in the sunshine.

About the author: Sebastian, founder and owner of Land Water Adventures and basically satisfied as long as there is enough water and chocolate. More about Sebastian is also available here here.

After the wintry June last year with river access between ice and snow, it was warm and Scandinavian this year, even if it was rainy for the first few days. So rainy that we all spent the first camp in the tent. The next morning in the sunshine, however, there was nothing but joy to be heard about this, as it seems we all started this tour with a little too little sleep from our everyday lives.

It then remained changeable over the lake crossing and the pass crossing into the river valley, only just in time for the start of the long river days on a stream filled with rain did the sun come out permanently. And it stayed. All the little and big stories and anecdotes along the way and in between, which every such tour is full of, have also remained. And each one is unique. But take a look for yourself, I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
